"I finally got a chance to heat press the ( DuraCotton HT ) transfers I printed earlier today and ran the shirts through the washer and dryer. I am really impressed For the sake of your records, I used: Copier: Sharp MX3501N (does NOT use fuser oil)  Settings: Transparency and I used the bypass tray so it would feed straight through"

"I use DuraCotton HT and sublimation.  DuraCotton HT has a soft hand and vibrant colors.  The polymer window will show on anything but white, but it is still my favorite paper so far.  As for quality, as heat transfers go, I'll bet DuraCotton is right up there at the top, but it would be hard to beat the quality of sublimation.  I don't think any transfer process would complete with sublimation, but the sublimation blanks are a lot more expensive.
All in all, I think DuraCotton HT and a laser printer probably offer the best balance between price and quality. ...
Dura Cotton HT does exactly what it claims and if you follow the instructions, you will get consistent results right from your first print."

"Hi AutoART,

I just started using your transfer paper ( DuraCotton HT ) to replace 'X' branded (brand name removed) paper and I love the way your product is working for me. The only downside is that there is no grid pattern on back to help with alignment! Is there any plans for that? If you did have a grid pattern, your transfers would be the best out there and I've tried the Forever-ots line, Phototrans, and Imageclip." Email Nov 29, 07

Comment: AutoART printed the first backside grid in 1997.  Yes, the AutoART grid will make a return, soon.

" DuraCotton HT  produces bright vibrant soft images right out of the gate ~ so far a couple sample shirts have been washed about 40 times (I’ve got a 3 year old so we do laundry several times a day and I just toss them in for grins)… The Shirts STILL look GREAT … just as vibrant as when they were originally pressed ~ DuraCotton ROCKS !
After using it for a while now, I still trim the HT images when putting it on colored shirts as it isn’t as ‘transparent’ as on the white ones, but heck that’s nothing.

I LOVE MY DURACOTTON HT and my new OKI !
DuraCotton is all I’m buying now.

THANK YOU again for all your help and knowledge transfer…some manufactures could care less about ‘the little guy’ ~ I really appreciate your time and assistance ~ it says a lot about your company! Hope my beta testing info helps you guys in some way too.
Have a great day!"

"I had a job to do today and had planned on using XXX. As I was throwing out the 25th piece, my order of Duracotton HT showed up. This was my first time with DuraCotton , I followed the directions and printed and pressed two sheets. Both came out perfect, so I printed 22 more to finish this job. The end result was 24 printed sheets, 24 printed shirts, 0 in the trash. Two thumbs up for DuraCotton HT !"

Customer Comments

"FIRST IMPRESSION ( DuraCotton HT )
I am excited about this new paper.  I like the way it looks, feels and transfers when I did it correctly.  There is little, if any hand that will be eliminated with the first washing of the garment.  The cost is OK.  But, the savings over inkjet printing is tremendous!  The colors are much better than an inkjet transfer.  Since the ink (toner) is fused onto the paper, it will always come out with better colors than an inkjet can produce.

DuraCotton HT should end up saving printers time and money in the long run! I did not use Teflon in the initial press.  I did use it on each second pressing, and yes... the hand was eliminated with the second pressing every time"
